I can see that you have now posted them.

Do they know who the driver was? Has the driver been revealed in any appeal stage?

no the driver has not been revealed. They do not know who the driver was.

Okay - so can we see the defence which you have initially provided?

I haven't provided a defense; I have just completed the Directions Questionnaire (see link above); I have also emailed BWLegal to request full details of the parking charges.

I had a phone call with a court mediator in which I stressed that I had no details of the alleged parking charges.

I emailed the court to say:
'I will like to inform the Court that despite multiple requests and with the agreement with the mediator assigned by the Court, I have not received full details of the alleged parking charges brought by BW Legal. I have no information about the alleged parking violations (days, times, locations, vehicle details).
I requested details concerning the parking violations on June 3rd 2025 via email.
As part of the mediation process, on the 5th November 2025, the assigned mediator called BW Legal and BW Legal agreed to share the details with me (the Defendant).
I have not received any correspondence from BW Legal about this case nor the parking charges. I have once again - on 2nd January 2026 - emailed BW Legal to request details.

Best wishes,
Lee Atkins (Defendant)'

This is all.

An in person court date has been set:

https://ibb.co/8Dhgw1sz

The claimant has until the 12th to pay the court fee.
Good.
So check on 13 February with the court if you have not received a notice of discontinuation.
NtK is a Notice to Keeper from your other query.
Your defence may have been filed as per your email. But that’s only a guess.

Ok thanks. If the claimant does go ahead (pays the court fee), is there a recommended course of action, or should I wait to see and then proceed accordingly?

I don't think I have received a Notice to Keeper. I cannot find such a thing. What does it detail?

You posted the Notice to Keeper above, Reply #14. It wasn’t explicitly called that I agree.
If the court fee is paid, you will need to file a Witness Statement by the relevant date.

You mention not having received communication prior to the court claim... Is your address correct on the parking charge notices you have been sent?

yes the address is correct.
I received:
some debt collector letters
A Letter of/before Claim from BW Legal

None of these detailed the details of the parking charges.

BWLegal claim that they sent the parking charge notices, but if they did then they must have ended up in the junk mail pile for recycling (I live with elderly parents)

You must have provided a defence, because if you hadn’t you would now have a default judgement made against you.

That makes sense. The only defense that I have given at any point was that I do not have full details of the alleged parking charges, so I cannot judge their validity or prepare a defense. I cannot find an actual copy of my wording of this, but that is all I have given.

I have received an update from BW Legal. It seems they are proceeding with the claim at Court:

What is my best course of action now please?

Please show us the whole document - we can't advise on a letter we have only seen small excerpts of.
