The best course of action is to give us some details of the case.

Also, post up the PCN and the County Court Claim redacting only personal info.

You're coming to us at a stage during which the advice we can offer is somewhat limited. But, to give us the best chance to advise, please provide the details InterCity mentions, as well as an exact copy of the defence you submitted, and a copy of the Notice of Allocation that sets the hearing date and the date for submission of evidence etc.

Also, for clarity, it's the County Court, not Crown Court, as this is a civil case.

Sorry yes, its the County Court of course. How can I attach photos of the relevant docs?

I have the letter from the Court detailing this.

Also I have details of the two parking charges to share (but cannot work out how to attach).

RE: my defense - I hadn't received details of the parking charges despite several requests for this info. I was therefore unable to check whether they were valid or not. Just this week they sent the details (the 2 images attached). They insist that they sent details of the charges previously.

We need to see exactly what you submitted, not a summary.

I have have uploaded the docs here:

That's not the letter we need to see. We need to see:
  • The Claim Form - this contains the Particulars of Claim, and
  • The Notice of Allocation - this is the one that tells you what date the hearing is on, and the deadline for submission of evidence

Your PCN uploads are cut off about half way down for some reason.

I sent this to the court on the 2/01/2026:

'I will like to inform the Court that despite multiple requests and with the agreement with the mediator assigned by the Court, I have not received full details of the alleged parking charges brought by BW Legal. I have no information about the alleged parking violations (days, times, locations, vehicle details).
I requested details concerning the parking violations on June 3rd 2025 via email.
As part of the mediation process, on the 5th November 2025, the assigned mediator called BW Legal and BW Legal agreed to share the details with me (the Defendant).
I have not received any correspondence from BW Legal about this case nor the parking charges. I have once again - on 2nd January 2026 - emailed BW Legal to request details.

Best wishes,
Lee Atkins (Defendant)'

As I have already mentioned, we need to see the whole of the NtK (both sides) redacting only personal information.

So far you have made two attempts to show the PCNs but have cut off key wording in both cases.

Please try again.

Advice here is that you need to ask for a hearing in person, not as you have done.
By forcing the claimant to attend court in person, or send representation, makes it more likely they will discontinue rather than attend.

An in person court date has been set:

The claimant has until the 12th to pay the court fee.
