Hi folks
Is prestone screenwash (winter formula) safe to use in summer. Only apprehension is that it will have de-icer which might strike more streaks on windshield in summer. Otherwise what stop it from cleaning the windshield in summer too. Screenwash name is Prestone Max visibility screenwash (winter formula).

This one??
Tested in the most extreme of conditions, the Prestone Extreme Screenwash can clear your car’s windscreen of stubborn dirt and melt away ice.
Prestone · prestoneuk.com

Name: Prestone Concentrated Screen Wash 5 Litres
Manufacturer’s Code: PSCW0028A

How to Use:
Dilute the screen wash as per the instructions on the back of the pack.

WINTER – Use neat

AUTUMN – 1:9 Screen Wash to water

SPRING / SUMMER – 1: 19

Then, locate your screen wash reservoir under the bonnet and top up your screen wash as required.

To reduce spillage and for greater control, you may wish to use a funnel.

I use that screenwash until well into summer without any problems, in fact, it may be helpful in removing dead flies.

It seems that labelling summer or winter is just marketing tactics but obviously summer formula wouldn't be effective in winter. Prestone is no 1 brand with only £2 more expensive than ordinary ones but it contains all essential ingredients which eliminate dirt, grease & grime. Can remaining washing liquid be rubbed manually on wiper blades rubber to clean it. And can same screen wash be used on the glass of side windows with microfiber cloth.

I prefer pure Waitrose myself, it's more refined. Take a jack and make sure you expel all previous low quality air from each tyre before refilling.

Top tip: Buying 4 jacks allows you to save money on the airline timer.
