They're points you can cover. Your comments on the evidence should pick holes in their case. Find anything that undermines their arguments, and anything that bolster yours.

You cannot make any fresh appeal grounds but can draw attention to any shortcomings in their case.

You only have 10,000 characters so it needs to be somewhat brief.

When's your deadline for responding?

In their statement, UKPC state: "In this instance the motorist is not present in the vehicle or near the signage, so we would contest that means an event has taken place." Just put them to strict proof that is the case.

If PoFA don't cancel the charge, don't worry about it. This would never see the inside of a courtroom.

Hi Everyone.

I've finally heard back from Popla yesterday and to no surprise they have not cancelled the invoice.

I have posted all the correspondence that popla and UKPC have sent me. Was very surprised at how UKPC had sent me an invoice within 15 mins of popla sending out my unsuccessful appeal to me via email.

Are they sure they are not connected somehow?  :) .

Yes. Ignore the barrage of debt collector letters you will now receive. Come back when you receive a Letter of Claim.

Another hole to pick, in the blurb above they mention "the motorist" was not present. Who do they mean by the motorist, the driver, a passenger?

Apologies, I was thinking of the N1SDT form which comes later.

You need to reply to this LoC, there are many examples here, if you don’t get any input I’ll try to provide it myself in a couple of days.

For example, https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/not-received-the-private-parking-charge/msg83157/#msg83157 contains a response to a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal on behalf of UKPC. However, I did not write this and I do not know if the words it uses, Civil Procedure Rules for example, are accurate or applicable, so you really need to edit this response to something you’re happy with.
At the end of the day, your response will be ignored and in due course you’ll receive the N1SDT form I confused this with initially.
