Yes, you are being overly concerned. Overthinking this is not conducive to your mental health.
This is simply a civil contractual issue. The PCN is nothing more than a speculative invoice for an alleged breach of contract by the driver.
As a company owner, do you simply pay any old invoice you receive without checking whether it is valid? Are you tempted to simply pay an invite because it has a mugs discount?
Forget about clamping. You are worrying about something that simply is not going to, and cannot happen, because you are disputing an invoice from an unregulated private parking company.
Sounds good, thank you, I'm on their website now.
I just submitted the wording that you advised, boy did it feel good, many thanks again, I'll let you know how the b@#stards respond

Hi,
I just wanted to update you on this, in particular user 'b789', having summitted my appeal using the wording you so very kindly gave me, SML have today confirmed that they have cancelled my PC and that no further action will be taken.
So, a massive thank you, your advise was absolutely spot on. I'm so delighted that these crooks were forced to back down, without your help I would have probably given in to their threats, well played and thank you again.
