Hello,

My partner, the RK, has received the following penalty charge from PPM Ltd. The charge is for not displaying a valid permit while in a visitor spot on a residential estate.

This is a parking spot the driver has used for the last 2 years and has always had a permit displayed, but on this occasion was inside the property and not taken out in time. The pictures in the parking charge show a time of 19:07 but the issue time was at 19:18. Viewing more images online does show pictures at 19:07 and 19:18 but I was wondering if the actual notice needs to display the time range as well.

The driver knows they will probably have to pay but we thought we'd check from the RK perspective first to see if there is anything that can be done.

I have attached the photos below

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: After looking at the photos, it is clear to us that the permit is actually in the cup holder and was not displayed by the driver. The image is of so low quality and does not show the actual permit, just a small reflective square, but anyone on the estate would be able to agree its the permit.

If you go onto their portal as if to appeal/pay, you should be able to access their images - can you do this and upload them here?
