Parked without a valid e-permit
« on: »
Think I am banged to rights here. I was told by a nearby resident to park in this car park whilst I visit them as it is always empty and hes parked there for years without issue. Clearly not!
I wasnt aware there were cameras. Anyway long story short, I seem to only have 3 more days to either appeal or pay at the reduced rate. The letter itself only landed through my door at the end of last week for some reason. Is there anything I can do here?

Perhaps your resident who offered you duff advice will pay  ;)

It would be useful to see the signage at the site. One argument you can run is that the signage is prohibitive, insofar as it does not offer parking to those who are not permit holders (subject to us seeing the wording). The inherent downside of this approach is that neither the operator nor the second stage appeals service are likely to uphold an appeal on this basis, so you would need to see if they initiated a court claim and seek to defend it on this basis.

I think they should pay. I will see if i can find the signage online because im unlikely to pass there again.

Im guessing ignoring this probably isn't the solution anymore?
