Whilst I was investigating the CEL website for contact details I noticed I could input my PCN reference and registration and I got some details about my case . I now understand what has happened. The driver visited the same car park twice over two days to pick up said family members and the cameras have not correctly timed the entry and exits properly. ANPR double dipping.

Should I appeal with the following message? Anything else I should add?
APPEAL:
I am appealing as the registered keeper. There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. I deny any liability for the alleged parking charge.
The allegation that my vehicle remained on site for approximately 21 hours is incorrect. Your ANPR evidence is plainly inaccurate. The vehicle made two separate visits on consecutive days, each lasting less than the free parking period.
It appears your ANPR system has failed to record one or more exit or entry events and has incorrectly combined two separate visits into a single continuous stay.
I require you to review all ANPR images and records for the relevant dates rather than relying solely on the first entry and last exit. If you intend to pursue this claim, please provide:
-Copies of all ANPR images captured for my vehicle on the relevant dates.
-Evidence that your ANPR system was functioning correctly.
-A copy of the contract or authority relied upon to issue this charge.
-A full breakdown of the amount claimed.
Until this evidence is provided, the alleged debt is denied, and I request that the matter be discontinued.
