CCJ Recieved by Parking Eye

Hello All,

i have receieved a CCJ for a parking ticket. I din't open the court letters on time, the case was decided without my response.

I have the letter from parking eye - the claim was for £215 (including court costs), the CCJ letter from parking eye says £237. But when i call in it says i have to pay £307, which is also the amount from DCLB.

So as i understand i owe the £237 and it is related to the CCJ. The extra £70 - if they want it they can try and chase me for it ( seems to nbe my stance, not sure it stands)

I have spoke to DCLB they said i have to pay in full. likley they will deduct the #£70 first if i only pay £237.

Cant seem to find Parking eye number to speak with anyone, have sent them an email just now.

Please advise, thank you for your help

It may help if you show us some documents. You should have a Judgement in Default from the court for starters, seeing this would be good.

There may be options around set asides etc., but if the only reason you ended up with a default judgement is because you failed to open your post, you're not in a great position.
