Hi there,

Just received a PCN for non payment of parking.

Location: Betteshanger Country Park

On Sunday 16th September I visited Betteshanger Country Park for the first time, and I was there for 49 minutes.
 
Before leaving I scanned the QR code at the car park to pay for the parking, entered my reg and the period of parking on the 'park with ease' website. But neither an icon to pay or a parking fee was displayed after I entered all my details.

When I saw this, I simply figured that it meant that there are no fees, similar to other parking applications like Ringgo.

I've read reviews of the site online, and I see that there have been similar complaints regarding the difficulties of payment processing.

Could I please receive some advice for appealing this. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, I've attached both pages of the private PCN. At the time I visited there were no signage for parking besides the QR codes. As I entered and left the site both barriers were raised up on both sides. Lots of complaints on TripAdvisor about the parking being a scam. Someone commented that apparently you have to "actually leave the carpark before the system registers" which doesn't make sense. Unfortunately I have no screenshots to show that the payment site wasn't working.
