There weren't any bay markings or disabled bays anyway. This is my point there was nothing. No space markings on the floor no visible parking signs 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you for your reply it's made me feel at ease slightly. I can't find my wording I sent on the POPLA site but I found their reply. I do have my wording saved though ;

The signs provided by Horizon are positioned in such a way that they are easily obstructed when vehicles are parked in front of them, as was the case on the day I parked. I have submitted photographic evidence of the location where I parked, clearly showing that the signs were not visible. As a disabled person, I have previously stated that the car park is not accessible or accommodating for individuals with disabilities. There should be clear signage directly in front of the parking space I occupied, as demonstrated in the attached pictures.

Private parking tickets / Horizon Parking - disabled driver

Anyone have any experience with Horizon parking and POPLA? Basically Horizon said I was parked illegally because I didn't follow the parking signs however you can clearly see in the photos that there isn't any adequate signs and when cars are packed In front of them you can't see them 🤔 I'm also disabled badge holder so I feel like they aren't being disability friendly. Obviously horizon have come back and said just cause you're disabled badge holder doesn't mean anything which yeah fair enough but now I've appealed to POPLA with the photos. I had to be admitted to hospital after attending the docs (where the car park was) however never had I had any warning the car park was changed to private and there were no obvious signs as I was driving in 🤔 also I parked where the white car is in the photo. Do you think I stand a chance or? £100 is a lot of money for this 😭 Shock popla refused me 🥹😭 is there not a bit of contradictory in this? I couldn't see the signs as the pics they posted in their defence I remember cars being parked there or I would have seen the signs, not that I was aware of any signs before. I was only made aware they were there in their appeal!!! Also they've no disabled spaces so how was I to park in a disabled space..not an idea inclusive car park at all!!! Do I just have to suck it up and pay the ridiculous £100 😭😭 my argument at Poplar was that the signs were not visible or appropriate for disabled person. I'm autistic/ADHD and hold a disabled badge. on day of parking it was in what I thought was the doctors car park but apparently it's changed and it's not part of the docs anymore it's actually private. I had an emergency docs appointment to then be in hospital that evening and over night and then emergency op the next day. The signs were not visible nor was there a pay machine. I've now had a debt collectors letter today (15th April) ordering me to pay £165 by the 22nd April. Which I cannot afford this month and I'll be out the country from 20th for 2 weeks. I'm stressed, I've had a meltdown today because of all this. I believe I'm in the right as I would have paid parking or moved the car if I saw signs. What's the likelihood of me losing if this goes to court? In the photos of where I parked was near in front of the metal polls
