Hi all,
I've unfortunately received two PCNS from a journey through London on the same day.
I was working at an event last week, and I had to run out to get some emergency supplies for the event. The traffic was pretty hectic in London that day. The journey was meant to take 45 minutes, but I ended up in the car for 4 hours.
I was pretty stressed from the heat and having to get back to the event site on time with the additional supplies I had set out to get. The PCNs are small mistakes of human error, which I refused to pay the council based on these terms. Any help or advice on how to escape the PCNS is appreciated.
PCN 1 - alleged contravention - being in a bus lane in Camden road sw-bnd Camden Street. 19/06 13:07
The photo only shows my car passing through a bus stop, not a bus lane. There is no signage showing a bus lane. What is the best way to challenge the PCN?
PCN 2 - alleged contravention - performing a prohibited turn (no right turn) 19/06 15:13
Code 50 - Gerrard Place junction with Shaftesbury Avenue.
The image shows "turn left", it doesn't show "left turn only"
What is the best route to take with appealing these PCNs?
