Possibly can't appeal but will try Camden
« on: »
Morning, can I please ask if I correct with the first stages of understanding a PCN are writing to the council for further information. I have two moving infractions within 3 minutes of each other but don't understand what they are for.

Thanks

Welcome to ftla.

As usual, for meaningful advice you will need to have a read of
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

and post up here
all sides of the first PCN (only redact yr name & address - leave all else in) and the 1st side of the 2nd PCN,
any video,
any council photos,
and
a GSV link to the location(s).

No need tom apologise. Welcome to The Not So Yellow Brick Road. Not us, them, the others=councils.
IF YOU RECEIVE A MOVING TRAFFIC PCN PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A REPRESENTATION:

How do we get more people to fight their PCNs?

Oh annoying. Is there another app to use to upload as it isn't blurry when I open it. Maybe quicker to copy and paste info if I can

The letters you have posted show that you hired a car from Enterprise, then two PCNs were sent to them during your hire period for moving traffic offences which they then paid. They are now collecting the money from you. You need to look at their conditions of hire, because at the moment, you have no standing in the matter because under the decriminalised legislation for parking and traffic offences, the owner of the vehicle has responsibility for PCNs incl paying or appealing.

Thanks for that, but I was looking for advice to appeal. The guidance on here says to not contact the council first, I wanted to know what the charge for moving was and then see if I can challenge it

Shall I just email Camden to know what the offence was and then challenge
