Author Topic: Pending resident parking permit, hit with PCN - Walthamstow  (Read 42 times)

I’ve applied for a resident parking permit, that seemed to take forever to go through. Although I know they say give it 10 days for them to process, I still have to park my car somewhere. I received a few PCN’s for parking in a residential area without authorisation, my permit has now been accepted but I’m hit with the PCN’s. Is there any chance of challenging these? Wondering if I could fight the good fight or just take it on the chin and pay for them.

Thank you!

As you say, until your permit is issued you must find alternative parking arrangements or, if available, pay for temporary permits.

Pl post all PCNs. The moderators normally require 1 thread per PCN, but if the circumstances are identical in each case then perhaps this might be relaxed, but it's not my decision.

Assuming these are all PCNs affixed to the vehicle, then please

Check with Walthamstow for any other PCNs outstanding against your vehicle.

Post up here both sides of the unredacted earliest PCN.

Make a list of all the PCNs in order:

Date+Time      Location +GSV link      Contravention+code    PCN number.
