Contravention 34J - Being in a bus lane
« on: »
Having been out of the country the last 10 days, I retrieved a PCN in the post dated 1.6.26 for a bus lane contravention on 25.5.26 on the junction of Cricklewood Broadway with Kara Way.

The driver can't recall the bus lane restrictions but that date was a bank holiday so they may have gone into the bus lane incorrectly thinking it was Sunday (relaxed) restrictions. Upon checking, it seems like the restrictions may be 24 hours.

Are there any grounds for the driver to contest the PCN?

Many thanks.

Bus lane signs with no times or days means they apply 24x7
