Camrose Avenue, Harrow PCN
« on: »
Hi all,

We've just been issued a PCN from Harrow council for driving through this notorious bus gate "Using A Route Restricted To Certain Vehicles Buses, Cycles And Taxis Only".

We aren't familiar to the area, conditions were dark and it had just finished raining. Additionally, there is no solid white line or adequate signage in advance.

Having looked through previous posts, I can see a lot of people who challenge the PCN are unsuccessful.

I have attached dashcam footage of conditions but I'm wondering if it is even worth appealing? Fully expecting the council to reject our initial challenge, but wondering if it would be successful at the adjudicator

Many thanks for your help and time.

and post up here
(use

Wherever possible, use the BBCode.)

all sides of the  PCN (redact yr name & address - leave everything else  in),
any council photos/video,
and
a GSV link to the location.

P.S. your drive link needs setting to public...

Oh dear, not another Camrose Avenue thread ! Join the Club.

You can look at the London Tribunals Statutory Register using Camrose Aveue plus a from date, as your search argument here :-
London Tribunals holds separate statutory registers for appeal cases heard by the Environment and Traffic Adjudicators and the Road User Charging Adjudicators. The registers can be accessed through...

This is a major moneyspinner for this council so obviously they have no incentive whatsoever in making the layour more user-friendly.

As above: please the PCN and VRM and all details. "No solid white line" doesn't come into the equation as this is not a bus lane. The advanced information is relevant.
@Incandescent!

I AM ABLE TO TAKE ON MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. I HATE RETIREMENT.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.
