Hi PDeygoo.

I just received a similar PCN for driving down Broomhouse Lane https://maps.app.goo.gl/jm79PoV4AzB8Zucu6 on Sunday, 5 October 2025 at 14:03 https://photos.app.goo.gl/vwKFdZhNWEegT7Q5A

I didn't notice any signs to say couldn't otherwise. I am not local to area, so can't go back to revisit signage, so wondered how you got on? I couldn't see a further post with Broomhouse Lane in subject header.

Thanks

Hi,

I am still awaiting the result of the challenge. When they reply, I will let you know. In my challenge, I did state that I didnt see any signage, I wasn't at all familiar with the area, and was following a sat nav and trying to keep to 20mph. I was very apologetic and requested clemency as a first time offender.

Most of Fulham is now banned to all vehicles except permit holders. There should be signs at all junctions along New Kings Road and Wandsworth Bridge Road to that effect. Too many people follow the satnav rather than looking for road signs, sorry to say. I was born and bred in Fulham and would hate to go back there these days.
Bus driving since 1973. My advice, if you have a PSV licence, destroy it when you get to 65 or you'll be forever in demand.
