52m PCN
« on: »
Hi all

I received a PCN for 52m which was no right turn in Camden.

i just wondered if anyone knew what the rules on the correct signage is meant to be

there was a sign for no right turn (circle right turn with line through it) but no No Entry sign and no signs to warn you of cameras or you will be fined etc

I just wondered if anyone knew if there should be a sign to state you are likely for a fine / or camera sign

thanks

The No Right Turn sign is sufficient on its own. However, placement of signs can be an issue.

A right turn into a street can be barred for traffic management reasons with the street remaining two way. There are lots of streets where this is the case, here is one in Crewe near where I live:-

For further advice (often mistakes in the 'small print') please have a read of
https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/

and post up
all sides of the PCN (redact only name & address),
the video (this is the evidence),
any council pictures, and a GSV link to the location.

@Braquo as above, you need to show us the paperwork otherwise no meaningful advice can be given.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.
