No vehicle signs Adrienne Avenue Southall UB1 Enforced by camera. No signs indicating camera in use.
I received an FPN for 52JM, going through a “No Vehicles” sign/ I feel aggrieved as the road leading up to the No vehicle entry is very narrow with vehicles parked either side and I needed to trun round , i feel they have set a trap in that its a lot safer to go through the sign to compete a safe u turn than complete what would be a 5 point turn with parked cars either side and having to drive up a residents drive.
However I accept what I have done to and will pay the fine.
The issue i want to appeal follows.
I was in this area road to buy ceramic tiles from an industrial estate in Adreienne Ave. I returned to this industrial estate for the same reason did the same thing again for the same reasons, so I am now expecting a second fine for the exact same offences.
The first offence took place on 10th April. The second offence on 21st April but the penalty charge notice from the council is dated 16th April but no doubt delayed because of the Easter bank holiday didn’t arrive until the post on 21st April.
Obviously had I received this damn notice before i took the second journey i would not have “committed ” the second error. And of course this is the infuriating thing about these matters and camera enforcement s you font expect any common sense.
But does anything know of guidance that might assist in this case. Google is not that helpful it seems to be random depending on the council.
Also does anyone know is this is matter that can go to arbitration panel? There is nothing the the letter from Ealing Council.
