52 M Chobham Road E15/Leytonstone Rd E15 (westbound)

I was using my navigation device maps that took me through the road in concern. New to the area and as following direction. There was other cars in access either parked or driving through. PCN arrived in post can this be challenged.

Wow, I'm now on your third PCN thread for a single journey in London ! It seems very clear you are totally unaware of the meaning of the "Flying Motorbike" sign.
Here is what you passed:-

Again, there seem to be no advance warning signs, thus making it dangerous to start the turn, stop, and then somehow back-out. Very poor signing, in my opinion, but they get away with it because 99% of people just cough-up, not wanting to risk the extra £65 at London Tribunals.

I think you need to cease using your satnav !

Can't argue with the adequacy of the signage here:

Make a plea for discretion and in the meantime I'll get the traffic order.
I practice law in the Traffic Penalty Tribunal, London Tribunals, the First-tier tribunal for Scotland, and the Traffic Penalty Tribunal for Northern Ireland, but I am not a solicitor or a barrister. Notwithstanding this, I voluntarily apply the cab rank rule. I am a member of the Society of Professional McKenzie Friends, my membership number is FM193 and I abide by the SPMF service standards.

@Nazma Yaqoob the traffic order is The Newham (Prescribed Routes) (No. 1) Traffic Order 2022, did you make a plea for discretion as I suggested?

1. Advanced warning signage?

2. Quite a lot of signage to take in.

3. We do not cancel for the reasons given! This implies they are not considering on a case by case basis.

The funeral directors should set up a toll booth: https://maps.app.goo.gl/uheegmAooBrmLqLG7

There is an argument to be made about the signage: the traffic order says the restriction is between "a point 8.1 metres west of the western kerb-line of Leytonstone Road and a point 10.2 metres west of that kerb-line", but they're not:

Arguably if the signs were where they're meant to be, the motorist would have more time to take them in, and also more space to turn around. Putting the signs in the wrong place means they're not compliant with the regulations, we've had decisions allowed on this point before, see Michael Dempsey v London Borough of Enfield (2230348292, 26 August 2023).

I would say your chances of success are more than 50%, but not by a million miles, so you need to decide whether you want to carry on.

Hi, I received a pentaly notice for entering the LTN at chobham road driving from leytonestone road.  I too was following my sat nav and didnt see the restriction sign. Ive appeealed but this was rejected. Would apprecite it if somebody could kindly advise what grounds I could appeal at tribunal.  Was wondering what grounds nazma yaqoob used and if I could appeal on the same grounds as our reasons for entering the LTN are almost identical.
