All normal. It is the prequel to their discontinuation. Do not make any contact with them.

I’m getting spammed with phone calls and voicemails from the solicitor now.

Assuming they are calling a mobile you can always block their number.

Yup... simply block their number. If they need to send you information, they can email or write to you. When they discontinue, they must send you a copy of the N279 Notice of Discontinuation. anyway.

Just received an email from a small claims mediator saying they tried to contact me for an appointment that was apparently scheduled for today... I didn't receive a letter.

Please show us the letter. You will need to make a formal complaint about non-receipt of the mediation notification.

The email was just from a mediator saying that they were going to try to call me, it doesn't have any useful information.

I've asked to re-book the appointment because I haven't received any more information. They said they will send all of the info out to me in due course.

Just remember, when you are in the call, you offer £0 and it will be over in minutes.
