PCN Bedford Square London

I entered Bedford Square by my watch and clock at 5 pm on a Thursday. It's a no-motor-vehicle zone from 4-5pm.  I paid to park using ringo at 5:02pm.  i have receieved a PCN  saying i entered at 4:59pm.... should i appeal this - it seems ridiculous for the sake of what would be less than a minute if that? any advice would be great.
