Hi all,
Just been pinged by a 47j (stopping at a Bus Stop) when my wife jumped out of a car quickly and didn't realise it was a clearway. Guess that's fair enough.
I was aware that CCTV can cover yellow boxes, red routes and bus lanes. But I was surprised they can use it for bus STOPS.
Is there a definitive list anywhere of what contraventions councils can use CCTV for? Cheers.
They certainly can cover bus stops. I've had a couple in my time. There's usually a challenge available on some ground though.

Just because they do something, doesn't mean they can!
In the last 12 months, TfL has issued 212,712 penalty charge notices to vehicles parking in red route bays

If the allegation stopping at a bus stop, what is the relevance of the clearway?
Most bus stops now have the thick yellow line next to the kerb and a sign on a post saying No stopping except buses. Were either of those 2 requirements present? I too don't see what a clearway has to do with the matter. Where did this happen?
