Unless one is a moderator, after a certain period after posting, one cannot.

Your question begs the question of whether one can delete a post. The correct question would have been can one delete a post (and if so, how).

I think the first sentence of Andy's reply answers that.

Is there a particular post you were hoping to delete, and a reason you wanted to delete it?
