Traffic Camera Type
« on: »
Hi, does anybody know what type of camera this is?

There has been a proliferation of these across London in particular.

Just want to make sure it isn’t a speeding camera!

Well, you could tell us where Raven Road is and then I suggest you make a FOIR to whichever council.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

You say "across London in particular"

Have you actually seen any outside London? If not, I'd suggest it's ULEZ.

Aren't ULEZ cameras usually on or just above the ground, lying sideways?

Raven Road, E18 1HB, and inside the ULEZ so probably ULEZ camera that hasn't got tired and fallen over as andy alludes to.

Normally covered in silly string.
I am not qualified to give legal advice in the UK. While I will do my best to help you, you should not rely on my advice as if it was given by a lawyer qualified in the UK.

If it is a ULEZ camera, don't tell a "Blade Runner"!
