I assume your car was the one in the far right lane? If so it looks bang to rights, clearly passing the red light (where I assume the line was) on red. The light would have been amber for 3 seconds or so before turning red, which should have been ample time to stop.

Yes, my car is the one to the far right and I am on 6 points in my first 2 years.

What you say makes no sense. Unless you’re going to accumulate 12 points in 3 years you don’t face disqualification. Similarly, as a new driver you face revocation if you hit 6 points - which you say you already have.

So you won't be getting a disqualification, you will be getting your licence revoked (totally different process). Which will require you retake both parts of the driving test again.

If you accept the inevitable fixed penalty, the DVLA will soon after revoke your licence. You could take it court, plead not guilty and defend the charge, but it seems very unlikely you would be successful based on the compelling evidence. Likewise persuading the court to not endorse your licence or to award you a short driving ban is a very unlikely outcome. Unlikely a solicitor will be able to influence the outcome either.

The probationary period for new drivers only applies after they qualify, if the OP was given the 6 points as a learner, they do not count for revocation - Road Traffic (New Drivers) Act 1995.

That is incorrect. Points gained before the test was passed count towards the total. If an offence committed during the probationary period takes the driver to six or more (including any imposed before the test was passed) that leads to revocation.
