Entered Great Street 10 Febuary AM, Parked Car in Image shown. PCN issued 10 Febuary PM on screen of car for alleged use of car park. Singage straddling the end of the road and entrance of the car park states that no car parking allowed, but this was attributed to the car park. No adjacent signage or road markings next to the car indicate that this part of the street was also subject to the rules on that sign.
PCN appeal was sent to SIP parking in which they rejected it due to 'Your veichle was parked in a manner other than in accordance withe the signange sitated at the car park' and an officer stated that the 'veichle was parked in front of a sign which clearly states no parking at any time'.
I would appreciate some advice on the matter/legal views, my personal opinion is that the sign is not clearly applicable to the location of the parked car, with other cars also parked adjacent to the subject car and not recieving a PCN notice. The subject car was also not in the car park which the ticket states that it is.
