The day and time as arrived, the only thing I say are. “ I’m willing to offer the claimant £0” nothing else

It is not part of the judicial process and no one who is legally qualified is involved. Tell the mediator that the claimant has a copy of your defence and you are only willing to offer £0. It will be over in minutes.

Complete waste of everyones time.

Mediation Not Settled….
I was given 2 offers and both declined, my offer of £0.00 I don’t think went down well. Lol. Now a waiting game and see what happens, what’s likely??

Search the forum, plenty of similar cases, but
  • N1SDT Claim form issued
  • N180 sent to you
  • You send your own N180
  • The case gets allocated to a court local to you for a hearing in person, and DCB Legal discontinues before having to pay the court fee
You will get advice here on each step, but I advise you to read up on similar cases now so you’re prepared.
You have to understand their tactics. They want to frighten you into paying. They do not want to attend your local court in person, which is the implication if you follow the process and advice here.

Still having trouble getting links to pics etc, will try on laptop tomorrow. The letter basically says..

Notice of transfer of proceedings,,,,
This claim as been transferred to the county court at Nottingham for allocation. On receipt the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judge’s decision will be sent to you in a notice of allocation..

The claim has been transferred to your local county court and you will receive directions with a hearing date, deadline for the claimant to pay the £27 trial fee and a deadline for submitting witness statements.
