Hi, I received a parking ticket from Smart Parking Ltd for "insufficient paid time". I have sent them a receipt on the ringo app of my payment for a full 24 hours, as I caught a train and returned to my car the same day. A month later they sent me the ticket, and when I appealed to them they refused my appeal still saying I had not paid for enough time. Interestingly on the parking ticket they indicate a completely different car park to where I was parked, and I paid for the ticket on my phone stood next to the machine a few paces from my vehicle.
I don't want to pay as they are clearly trying to scam me, and have given one sided evidence to the IAS and therefore they have dismissed my case.
I am happy to go to court for this and have not only pictures of the location and machine, but also videos showing where my car was and the signage for the car park I paid for.
I was hoping for some assistance with my defence statement as I know they will try to take me to court.
