Hi everyone, just want to share that I received an Email that I have A Mediation Appoiment booked by SCM at 2nd of April. I remember at my last form I ticked that I don't want any mediation ... do you know why I'm getting this, and what I should say on it ? Should I just mention that I don't agree with the fine because there is a lack of evidence? What are possible outcomes ? On top of that, I just want to mention that recently DBCL again tried to reach me a few times a day, leaving automatic voicemails for URGENT contact:)
Thanks for any responses :*

If you read the N180 you submitted it says that mediation is mandatory. Section A.
Just search the forum for “mediation” and you will find lots of advice. https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/parkmaven-ntk-and-unsuccessful-appeal/90/ is just one example.

Essentially you offer £0 to settle, do not discuss your defence, and it will be over in 5 minutes.

Block DCBL’s number if you can and hang up on them if you can’t.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update from me and my case. So today I had a mediation call, and as my Heros from here advised, the call lasted 5 min not more. The mediator was polite and didn't pressure me with anything. He said that DCB offer f190 to settle ( from 285) and I said that I do not accept it, and I let the court decide. No more details were needed or asked. I was informed that my hearing will be in 6-9 months. I guess if no one will close that topic until then, I will inform u what happened :) Once again, a big THANK YOU to everyone who was willing to help. Thank u for your time, and for helping me during all this process ( especially with filling out forms and explaining what will happen next). Probably without your help, I would have paid that fine a long time ago.As I said, I will update you when I receive any news.
