Eurocarpark ticket after a month
« on: October 29, 2024, 07:21:50 pm »
Hi, I got the invoice/fine in the 1st week of September for the fine which was on 27/7.
Parked to watch fire works which was after 10pm, but wasn't aware after retail park is closed 8pm you're allowed only to park for 10 minutes. Normally, it's 3 hours free parking.
I have now received a letter from the debt collectors, which from reading forums I have been told to ignore for now.
I want to appeal, is it too late?

Too late to appeal once debt collector letters start to arrive. You are correct regarding the debt collectors. They can be safely ignored.

Eventually, you will receive a Letter of Claim (LoC), most likely from DCB Legal. When you do, show us and we can advise on how to deal with it.

The most likely out come of this will be a claim, and when properly defended, will 99% for sure end with a discontinuation.

Nobody receiving advice here pays a penny to ECP.
