Hello,
I am the registered keeper of a vehicle that went through the Manchester Airport T2 pickup zone on December 6th 2025. The vehicle was there for 5 minutes and 48 seconds. The online payment wasn't made in time and a charging notice was issued. Please see this link for an image:
PARKING CHARGEThe driver attempted to make the online payment however it was outside of the permitted window.
The vehicle is leased from Lex Auto leasing who have taken over 2 weeks to notify the registered keeper of the parking charge notice meaning that it is now after the grace period at the lower rate.
Could someone please advise me what to do in this situation? Would you appeal the charge entirely and if so how? The Parking notice is addressed to the "registered keeper" and not "the driver" of the vehicle as shown in the image. Or could I appeal the £100 charge and try to reduce it to £60 as the parking charge notice was only sent to my company on 29th December 2025 (Via email, from Lex Auto leasing), despite the Date of the charge being 15th December 2025?
