The thing is quite simple - the driver overstayed a 90 minute parking by just under half an hour.
Got in the KFC parking not noticing the signs as meeting with a friend. Went for a bite, enjoyed a bit of banter and left only to be sent a Parking Charge Notice to Keeper within 10 days.
The signs were there but didn't pay much notice as excited for a meeting. It was an evening as well so the signs were not 'jumping' at the driver.
ANPR at the entrance but no info on that anywhere.
Is it even worth trying? And on what grounds?
No way of getting in touch with the retail as KFC don't care and operate on PAFO (pay and feck off) policy.
