I went to Iceland Gravesend with my wife to buy just 1 item and was my 1st time going there, when we got there my wife went into the shop to get the item whilst I wait in the car with the kid because she was sleeping and unfortunately I didn't check the sign post. She just returned to the car in some few minutes and told me they don't have it so we should go. We left there straight away.
After two weeks i got a parking ticket from Excel Parking Services saying i stayed 13min from the time i enter the car park and exit and they are the people that control the car park. In the letter they said I should have buy ticket and the car park is not own by Iceland, is a private car park. They allow 10min waiting and i wait 13min so should pay. I challenge it but was refused and thay are asking for me to pay.
Could you help me if there are any grounds to stand on.
