Just arrived back from a lovely holiday to find this on the doormat. Shopping was done, large not weekly shop the big monthly one, spent a fair amount on food and also ate at the cafe there.

Issued 28th July, but not recieved before we went away and today is the final day for "lower rate".

No photos of the signage unfortunately as I don't do this shop and frankly if you are in a shop it shouldn't be a fine inducing thing.

The notice is a "parking charge - Do no ignore" style affair. 30 mins over, took 10 minutes to load car and leave after paying.

Have you approached Tesco or Horizon (and appeal) to let them know you were actually a genuine shopper rather than exactly the sort of person they were trying to deter so that patrons like you could park.

Horizon are BPA members I  believe so despite the often repeated response on here that all appeals are denied the reality is 52% of appealed PCNs were cancelled by the operator according to information on the BPA website. Plan A which is to get land owner to cancel the PCN usually works best in situations like yours but appealing with a decent reason will also often do the trick. Responding with a load of technical reasons as to why you believe the PCN to be invalid tend to go straight over the head of people assessing the appeals.

Done sorry I followed the guide and it said not to identify but say something like it I am just back of holiday and mildly brain stewed.
