Euro Car Parks PCN Hollybrook Tavern Derby

Hi all, first off thanks to those of you running this website and providing help, its much appreciated.

The driver entered the car park, parked up and entered the pub with a friend for a drink, didn't see any signage in the car park, wasn't told by any member of staff that there are parking controls, we left after approx 35 mins.

10 days later i received this letter, a parking charge of £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.

I've not taken any action yet, but im going to the pub over the weekend to see if they want to help or not.

Try Plan A. When you know the outcome of that, tell us in case we need to move onto Plans B and C.

The sign with the parking terms does not comply with PoFA or the BPA Code of Practice (CoP) in that it does not adequately bring to the notice of the driver, the charge for breaching the terms.

Here is a comparison of the charge with the sign in the Beavis case:
