Plan A is to get the landlord to cancel. Have you approached Vision?
The company [Vision] is overseen by a Board of 10 Director Trustees including 8 Community representatives and 2 local councillors. The company is led by Iain Varah – Chief Executive and his senior management team: Gareth Morley – Director of Culture & Libraries and Kevin Wackett – Director of Parks & Open Spaces.
You never know, if you're a local resident one of your councillors could be a Director Trustee(whatever that is, I thought these roles were supposed to be separated).
But before you approach them, let's have a look at a sign pl, I want to see what it says. If the overriding objective is to manage car parking space for the benefit of genuine users of the centre's facilities who may use it FOC, then as you were a genuine user you shouldn't be penalised. There's nothing magical about inputting a VRM on a screen it is simply non-verbal communication of your entitlement to park. It's an administrative process to help the car park operator do their job on behalf of Vision, it is not an end in itself and why should you be out £100 or £20. Access to the screen is managed by Vision, not ECP isn't it!
