Yesterday driver looking for pick up zone at Manchester airport apparently drove through drop of zone confused with signs and pushed into ‘wrong’? lane by heavy traffic and zone comming immediately round the bend off a roundabout with no time to stop and look. This was terminal 2.

Today, when driver going on line to pay for express pick up 5 minute charge, £6.20 see another charge of £5 for driving through drop off without stopping, 1 minute as was held up with travellers crossing the road. 1 minute later arrived at pick up as drop zone leads to it.  Whilst driver is happy ( joking I am) to pay for the pick up, they are not at all happy to pay for a mistake by poor signage particularly as they did not ‘drop’ anyone, nor stop. The charge has to be paid by midnight tonight otherwise will received a PCN. Furthermore, to pay online one must retrospectively agree to parking companies ‘terms and conditions’ of which there are many otherwise not allowed to pay at all!!! Driver  not happy to pay a charge they do not owe or agreeing to their terms and conditions after the event. How can driver appeal this should they receive a PCN Very grateful for advice, please.
