County Court Hearing - Confused Need Clarification
« on: »
Long story short, have a hearing in 2 weeks time for a PCN at the County Court, defence was filed in Feb last year (2024), and WS filed last week, I received the claimant's Defence and WS 3 days ago in the post.
I wanted to dispute their points but I have already submitted my WS, can i add to it?
The fact their defence came this late, is that ok or is there a timeframe they have?

Unfortunately, we are not able to help without more detail. Please read this and then show us the  Particulars of Claim (PoC), the defence submitted, the claimants WS and your own WS if already prepared. Also, what did the directions order say about deadlines for filing all documents? Usually it is 14 days before the hearing (although it can vary).

Was the deadline for filing the same date for both parties? Who is the claimant and are they representing themselves or are they using a bulk litigator? If so, which one?
