I got two apologies from the parking company PPM as they made another 5 admin errors that led to the charges being passed onto TNC Collections who sent debt letters. They said: "We would firstly like to apologise for how the matter has transpired and been prolonged." and "This is a justification and not an excuse, and I apologise."

I don't need advice. I just thought it was rather amusing. Turns out some of these parking companies don't want you reporting them to BPA, DVLA, Trading Standards, your local MP or the ITV show 'Tonight' for Parking Problems Part 2 - Parking Scams on GLA Land.

And have you followed up with the formal complaints to the BPA/DVLA/Trading Standards/ICO?

If the NtKs were addressed to you as an individual rather than to a company, then you have a very strong case to sue them for compensation for breach of your GDPR under the data protection act.

It is worth sending an FoI request to the GLA for details to the contract they have with PPM and for them to provide sight of it.

One other thing... when submitting anything formal and about a complaint, you should address it as "Dear Sir"  if you don't know the identity of the person and sign it "Yours faithfully", or if you know the name of the person then "Dear [Mr/Ms/[first name] [last name]" and sign off with "Yours sincerely". No "Hi" or "Regards". These aren't your 'mates' or friendly acquaintances.

I made those complaints on Tuesday yes, as PPM hadn't written to me by then as they wrongly assumed GLA would pass it onto me. Not that it makes a difference as I was going to make the complaints anyway, as the fudge ups already happened.

Unfortunately, they are addressed to a company, so there won't be any suing involved. But good idea with the FoI request, I will do that on Monday.
