Anyone know what was a'happening on the M6 southbound (and possibly northbound) in Staffordshire earlier today?
A totally unnecessary 50mph speed limit was being enforced from J15 to J13, with the approaching signs saying...
If "smart" motorways can so easily be disabled, then maybe they should be cancelled, and nice, safe, hard shoulders reinstated!
Similar 50mph speed limits were being enforced on (last) Sunday morning, on nearly empty motorways, after "smart motorway upgrades" were supposed to have taken place.
