Private parking ticket
« on: »
I went swimming at Blackburn Leisure centre abs forgot to put my number plate in the machine so now I have a ticket. I have transactional proof that I went swimming. Will I win the appeal. If I appeal I have to pay the full £100 rather than the £60. Should I appeal?

Have you tried to speak to the leisure centre to try to get this cancelled?

Try for the manager not the desk.

The driver is likely a regular, so pl arrange for photos to be taken of the sign(s) in the car park which set the Ts and Cs of parking..and post here.

Not on that basis no, PPCs are in it to make a profit, accepting appeals isn't profitable.

You may have a number of angles to make a decent appeal, that isn't one of them.

Hi, yes they said the car park is not run by them so they can not do anything.

It’s not run by them, we know that, but if it’s owned by them and they employed the PPC they can intervene. Many landowners like to make out it’s nothing to do with them when in fact it most certainly is.
