Moorside Legal
« on: »
Back in July 2022 my wife mistakenly parked outside a parking bay, for which we received a notice to keeper from UKCPS fine £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days of notice, the car was not causing a obstruction. I did ignore the notice.

We received a further notice from UKCPS on 23/08/2022 which I also ignored, A further notice £130.00 on the 07/09/2022 which also was ignored.

The mater was handed over to Debt Recovery Plus who started sending letter's from 23/09/2022 for the sum of £170.00 which I ignored.

We have received several letters from Moorside Legal chasing the debt of £170.00, at the start I ignored them, but now I have received a letter of Claim for £170.00 dated 31/03/2025 & a reply form.

I have search through the forum & found a letter of reply, questioning VAT additional charges etc

Has anyone received a reply from sending the letter to them, just wonder where it will go from here once they receive the letter

Thank you in Advance

Yes, that response to the LoC will do. Send it as an attachment to help@moorsidelegal.co.uk and CC info@moorsidelegal.co.uk and yourself.

They such utter incompetents at this bottom-dwelling firm of pretend legals that this will never make it as far as a hearing should they be so stupid as to issue a claim.

You do not need to reply to Moorside Legal now.

You have already responded properly to their Letter of Claim and raised strong points in dispute. They have sent a standard reply that does not properly deal with your questions.

Moorside Legal are company pretending to act like legal professionals but staffed mainly by incompetent wannabes. Their letters are full of mistakes and vague threats because, embarrassingly in the legal sense, they do not have the legal knowledge to run cases properly.

We don’t need to waste any more time dealing with them. All we have to do is wait for them to issue an official the N1SDT County Court Claim Form which will come from the CNBC.

When it arrives, you can be sure that their Particulars of Claim (PoC) will fail to meet the court rules, specifically CPR 16.4(1)(a), because they will not properly set out the facts they rely on. This makes it very easy to defend. Eventually the claim will be struck out or discontinued.

You are in a very strong position. Just wait for the claim form and we will deal with it properly.
