I have now received the paperwork through the post. It arrived on 14th Feb so don’t think they’ve given me enough chance to pay the £35. Please can anyone help?

The note said that a parking charge notice had been issued against the vehicle and would arrive in the post

Thank you, I’m going to give this a try and if I’m struggling, I will ask for a bit more help on here once the fine has come through the post 😊

The white slip of paper was blank on the reverse - the card on the back says 'how to appeal a parking charge notice' but when I go to the website I can't do anything because they haven't issued me with a reference notice.

Private parking tickets / PCN Burnley General

Yesterday, a driver attended the hospital for a medical appointment. The car park was completely full and so the driver circled the car park and surrounding area for over 10 minutes with no marked spaces becoming available. Numerous vehicles were parked at the ends of designated rows due to the lack of capacity and many were parked in places causing obstructions.

With no alternative available, the driver parked carefully at the end of a row, ensuring they were not causing any obstruction to traffic, pedestrians, or access routes. They then purchased and clearly displayed a valid parking ticket.

On returning to their vehicle, they found a PCN had been issued by UK Parking Control Ltd, despite the fact that:

• they had paid for parking in full
• There were no available marked spaces
• they parked considerately and safely
• Other vehicles parked in the same manner had not been issued notices

Other than trying with PALS and explaining the issues trying to park, can the driver appeal (although there is no way to appeal currently as there is a card saying how to appeal but no ref number whi9ch is needed on the website).

There are several drivers who are insured to drive this vehicle - not sure if I can say on here whether it was the keeper driving or not.

Hope someone can help, thank you

UPDATE: I have photos of where the driver parked - this is indicated by the red line on the car park image
