Free Traffic Legal Advice

I have a disabled badge on the 6th December I parked in a disable bay outside Manchester children's hospital as I was taking my son to an appointment

I recieved a parking charge from parking eye of £70 ( reduced to £35 if I paid early ) I  thought as my badge was correctly on show my appeal would be granted - it wasn't

I tried to access the photos but couldn't In The the first week as it kept saying nothing was available . I also had no means to contact them

After posting on a Facebook site linked to this site I was informed I had likely  parking in a wheelchair ramp  vehicle only disabled  space

I was then able to view the photo of the sign which is at the back of the car 🤦‍♀️ which states disable badge holder wheel chair vehicles only

I didn't know this was a thing 

I've already appealed to popla prior to finding out all this just sending my blue badge , sons hospital appointment etc

Awaiting to here back

I don't own the car . I was taken to the hospital to support my son 3 days after having surgery

It now seems that because I've complained to pools I've lost the right got the discounted payment

Is there anything I can do or should I now just cough up the £70
