Private parking tickets / can I appeal this out of bay parking fine

I parked at a uni campus in England and got a fine for parking out of a bay. As you can see that the parking is pretty bad. Do you think that I have ground to appeal? Would like to hear your advices, especially from people with similar issues in the past. Thanks
