Private parking tickets / Need help with ParkingEye CCJ mess (England)

Hi all,
Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction for this boring issue I've faced with ParkingEye in England.
Long story short:
- I parking in a fully legal way for my son’s skating lessons at a Better Gym Lee Valley ice rink. No ticket was ever required
- I must have mistyped my plate, and ParkingEye issued a ticket.
- I disputed them but they rejected this - even though Better Gyms supported I was not requiring a ticket
- I then moved house, updated DVLA with new details, but court papers went to my old address.
- ParkingEye got a default CCJ as I was not aware of the case
- When I realized this, I paid £300 to have the judgment set aside.
- A new court date was issued, but it clashed with a holiday I had already booked
- I called the court helpline, was told to email Edmonton court with evidence which I did prior to the court date - however, this was never acknowledged (I called the helpline couple of times which they have documented)
- The court date came/went and the case dismissed as I couldn't attend
- Since July I have emailed, called and even visited the court with no follow-up
- Now I’m out £300 and it looks like I may need to pay again and restart the process.
At this point I do believe I need legal help....
Quick few questions for the community:
- Is there a way to escalate when the court does not respond?
- Do I really have to pay the set-aside fee again?
- Any advice for law firm which could help with this?
Thanks again for reading this long and boring story! Any advice is highly appreciated.
Thank you!
Violet
