Apologies for the slow response. I did not receive a notification. I will be keeping my eye out every few hours.

I have received a claim form. I have received two claim forms for two different vehicles registered under my name.

I have not lived at the property in which a claim was sent to under my name for more than a year. I also did not live at the property at the time of contravention of the current tickets in question.

Claim form dated 19th of March.

Hello everyone,

I recently received a County Court Judgment (CCJ) Claim form from DCB Legal regarding multiple parking charge notices (PCNs). The total amount claimed is approximately £1,200 for five PCNs. Unfortunately, I only became aware of this on the 29th day after the claim form was issued, leaving me very little time to respond.

Key Details:
• Claimant: DCB Legal
• Amount: ~£1,200 for five PCNs
• Issue: I did not receive any prior correspondence or the claim form because I no longer reside at the address they sent it to.
• Current Status: Today is the 29th day since the claim date. I have not taken any action yet. The issue date is 19th of March. Although in the back of the document it says the day of service is taken this five days after the issue date shown overleaf

I also received a separate claim form for another vehicle parked in the same parkning lot, with a claim amount of approximately £400 for a single PCN also with the same date.

Given that it’s the bank holiday weekend, I’m concerned about the limited time to act. I understand that contesting the actual PCNs is a separate matter, but my immediate priority is addressing the CCJ.

What steps can I take to set aside the CCJ, considering I receive the original claim late?

What is the best advice I can do to get rid of this claim form of £1200 and 400?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice from those who have experienced similar situations. Your help is invaluable during this stressful time.

Thank you in advance for your support
