Free Traffic Legal Advice

Hi, I downloaded the Evology app two weekends ago, and opted for Autopay, inputting my credit card number. I then parked at Lee Valley Velopark for a couple of hours, fully expecting that ANPR would lead to my credit card being charged correctly for the visit. I've just received a £100 parking fine from Parkingeye - there's been no record of my visit and my card wasn't charged. Did I miss a step in signing up?
