Private parking tickets / Re: PCN - Passey Place - Eltham - was at work
« on: November 20, 2024, 09:39:45 pm »
The evidence I am submitting is:
CCTV footage of me at my office at around 4:30pm (in central London)
Emails demonstrating a meeting that ended after 4:25pm
Maps showing it takes over an hour for me to travel home from the office, thus it being impossible for me to have parked there at that time.

My car was at home, on my drive.

Can I ask why I would gather evidence to support that my car was in the car park, when it wasn't, or is that a typo?

I don't think so, as I can see it in the photos.

I think they have used an old photo (I parked there once in March or April this year) and added it to this false claim. I know that's quite a leap, but there is no other explanation.

The photo is also incredibly dark so you cannot see any details or passengers

Hi there,
Ok, thank you. It looks to be the correct license plate, but I have no idea how that's possible.

Private parking tickets / PCN - Passey Place - Eltham - was at work

Hi all, I've been issued a PCN for parking in the above car park at a certain time and date. Well, that time and date is while I was at work in central London. It would have been physically impossible for me to be there and I've said so in an appeal to Parkingeye, who have rejected the appeal stating that I still need to pay them.
I'm not going to, obviously, and will appeal to POPLA but I don't really trust them either having spoken to them on the phone today.
I can get CCTV from my office to show I was there at 4:30pm, so it will have been physically impossible for me to be there and parked by quarter to 5.

My concern is:
They will try to still argue that the car was there (also impossible as it was on my drive when I got home during the time they say it was parked there)
They will say I cannot prove the car wasn't there, only that I wasn't
That if I don't pay it, I'm not going to, there will be debt on my house and car - is that a silly concern?

any advice welcome
